Bullet Proof Links
Bullet Proof Links is a website made by Matt Deasy and Peter MacDonald with a little help from me. It's a website designed for web designers to find links to various sites which will guide them along the way of designing a new webpage. The website is quickly becoming a hit, already being written about on Wired Magazine's Michael Calore's blog. If you are a web designer, this is definatly one palce to check out!

Petemac.net
Take a wild guess! It's my brother, Peter's website.

Deasy Studios
Deasy Studios is a design webpage made by Matt Deasy, one of the makers of Bullet Proof Links. He also has a blog located at Mattdeasy.net.

Open Web Design
Well, basically the two admins of Open Source Web Design got a "divorce" (not really, but the two guys who ran it split the sites up.) This is basically Open Source web Design at another location. The same style (except for a color change) and everything else got transfered.

Open Source Web Design
This is a web designing website, for all you designers out there.

World Wide Web Consortium
Another web designing website. This site has some great tools for helping you along your way.

Mozilla Firefox
I cannot stress this enough! Firefox is a browser (like Internet Explorer, AOL, etc. except better!). Instead of just saying it's better, I'll prove it to you, although you probably won't understand half the stuff I'm saying.

Firefox suppourts transparent PNG's while Internet Explorer doesn't.
Why is this important? A .png is an image format, kind of like a .gif. It's one of the few file types that will keep its transparency (What does this mean? It's fairly simple, something that is transparent, you basically can't see. So an image that keeps its transparency, is usually useful for images that have been "cut out", so that it's not surrounded by white).

Internet Explorer lacks essential CSS suppourt
This is a HUGE pain in the butt. Because Internet Explorer lacks the CSS suppourt it should have, it makes it extremely hard for web designers to design a page that works perfectly, without flaw, in both Internet Explorer, Firefox, and other browsers such as Opera, Safari, etc. What's even worse is that Internet Explorer 5 (most recent version is Internet Explorer 7) lacks even more of that CSS suppourt. So it makes it even harder to design a perfectly working webpage that will work in all browsers. As a matter of fact, mine doesn't work in Internet Explorer 5.

Extremely useful plugins and skins can be used for Firefox.
Firefox has huge pages of plugins and skins. Skins simply make your browser appealing. As for plugins, there are endless possibilities. I'll give you several examples of some good ones that you can get. FoxyTunes- FoxyTunes is a plugin which adds playlist controls that work with your MP3 player inside Firefox. So you can stop, play, go to the next song, change the volume, all while browsing the web.
Adblock- Even though Firefox has phenominal pop-up blocking software, this is for internal ads. Ads placed on pages, such as GoogleAds. Just right click, and you can disable it.
And the list goes on and on and on.
To get more plugins for Firefox, open up Firefox and go to Tools->Extensions, then click the "Get More Extensions" link in the bottom right hand corner.
To get more skins and themes go to Tools->Themes and click the "Get More Themes" link in the left hand corner.

Excellent pop-up blocking
Like I said previously, Firefox has great internal pop-up blocking software. This means you don't need to download anything like a Yahoo or Google Pop-up blocking toolbar.

And I can go on and on, but you get the jist of it. So do everyone a favor, and download Firefox!
