Halo CE League
Demo
About: Well, as you can imagine, the Gearbox League came back for more this summer. We are just beginning now. We started off with a very nice website. Thanks to BioCroc for his star looking logo (I did the rest of the banner) and rec0 for his help with fixing errors in the site. I hope this site will get off to a great start with lots of clans entering. We'll just have to wait and see.
Metroid Online Forums
No Demo
About: You can see the Metroid Online website farther below. Well, recently they wanted me to jazz up their forums a little. So, I went about creating my first skin for a forum. I had great results and had many compliments. It took me about ten hours. It was a huge pain in the butt and at some times, very frustrating. In the end, it was definitely worth it. Now I know exactly how to do it in the future, so I don't have to download other people's skins. :P Looks like I might be moving into a new form of business now. :)
Strength in Style
Demo
About: Strength in is a small web design company that Matt Deasy and I recently made. I designed and coded the site. We are gradually getting more and more customers to design web pages for. We hope for it to pick up a little in the summer.
Halo CE Web Ring
No Demo
About: Halo CE Web Ring is a site for people who own websites designated for Halo. It allows users to upload their website to be approved by an admin. I did the designing and coding, while MereCatFish coded the system of the site; all the PHP and mySQL that allows people to link their site.
ModHalo.net
Demo
About: I recently had the urge to buy ModHalo again. It is now running under a new domain; ModHalo.net. This new ModHalo is a cross between an old Halo site that became very popular, called Halo-mods.com. With Halo 2 PC around the corner, I thought I might as well get something started again and hope it gets a large member base. Although I didn't design the new ModHalo (it just uses Invision Power Board and a skin called Hardwired), I did do a ton of work on it. I fixed up the banner, installed several mods for the member's pleasure. I did a lot of work trying to get this site back on Google and I've been working very hard to get affiliates. Two months into it, we already have 450 members.
Philipmac.com v2
Demo
About: As I've said before, I've had complaints about the first version. So in February of 2006, five months after the launch of Philipmac, I began creation of version two. I finished it up in a day. It was also a lot less more complicated than version one. So here it is!
Metroid Online Map Team v2
Demo
About: I never really did like the design of the old Metroid Online Map Team website that I made. So recently I started working on a new design. This code is much cleaner, and the designs looks a lot better I think. It's just a big improvement from the last. It has been very successful and people have been making some good comments on the new design.
Murray and MacDonald Insurance Services (new)
Demo
About: Well, if you didn't notice it, this is a revamped version of the one below. I was recently looking at my Dad's site, checking the code, and seeing how sloppy it was. So I started from scratch, redesigned the page in Photoshop, sliced it up (many many times to get the sizes right), then started coding it. I made it wider, as you may be able to see. This used up some of the empty space on the other version, and allowed for more space where the text would go. This time I used divs instead of tables (except for the quote forms, you'll see some tables, but for the correct purposes). It's much cleaner and much more professional looking. Once I got the basic HTML done, I stripped it of the banner and navigation, and stuck it in a header. Now, whenever I need to fix a link, instead of editing twenty pages, I edit one. And, because the header includes the javascript for the navigation, the files are much smaller. So instead of having twenty pages that are 20 kilobytes, I have twenty pages that are 3 kilobytes and one page that is 15 kilobytes. Although a kilobyte isn't that big, it makes all the difference in a web page.
Philipmac.com v1
Demo
About: You are no longer looking at it, but this was the old Philipmac. I know, a big color change from v1 to v2 huh? I began this design to start my web page off in October 2005. My brother quickly grew old of it, and no sooner than that, he started bugging me to make a new design.

About: This is actually the first website I designed for commercial purposes. I designed it for my Dad, starting around August 2005. This has been one of my longest projects, for one because I'm doing it during the school year, and two it's huge and has some cool features. For example, there are forms you can fill out on the website to request insurance and such (none of which you're probably interested, viewing this page).
Gearbox Halo CE League
No demo is available
About: This is another Halo related site. Several different clans from Halo CE joined up and decided to have this big tournament. This happened over the summer around July-September 2005. I ended up running the administration process with some other guys. It was pretty successful and fun.
Metroid Online Map Team

About: Yet another Halo related website. This was built around July 2005 for the Metroid Online Map Team. Halo CE, a version of Halo designed for fans to create their own maps. This team of guys was working on converting several levels to Metroid levels. It was pretty huge when it started. We had about 12,000 unique hits (meaning it didn't count a new hit every time the same person visited the page, but rather it counted them every time someone new visited). So it was pretty amazing, and fun to be a part of.
ModHalo

About: This is where it all began. Well a little bit earlier. This was a website, originally started off as two. Both websites started at Freewebs.com. I had a website with Halo PC screenshots and tricks. Pete had a Halo PC modding website with modding tips, screenshots, etc. Being brothers, we combined our websites and bought the domain www.modhalo.com (no longer active). The first site was a Dreamweaver template, which looked pretty horrid. We then moved to this one, which was made in frames. Pete did most of the designing, I wrote up most of the HTML. We sky rocketed from here. At our height, out forums had about 350 members (which is pretty good, considering many non-commercial forums have around 50 [some have a lot more]). It was a blast being an administrator and learning so much stuff. It lasted from March 2004 to July 2005, and we had some good times.
